Unfortunately my old SLR camera broke while I was in Vancouver, so it was a very quick dash to the nearest photo shop. I bought a small hybrid, but it wasn't the greatest especially at the wide angle.
On the way to Jasper we spotted a little hand written sign advertising a boat trip to see black bears. We were a little sceptical, but yes they were there!

On the way down to Banff, we stopped for the Columbia Icefield Adventure on to the glacier.
At the Fairmont Lake Louise Hotel there's a walkway around the lake with stunning views back to the hotel.

Emerald Lake - there is a lovely lodge that you can stay at as part of a self drive.
