Cairo (2 nights)

Saturday

Fly from London to Cairo with British Airways and transfer to Le Meridien Pyramids for 2 nights. Upgrades are available to a Pyramid View rooms from Ł45 per person, but please book early.

Sunday

Morning tour of Giza to see the Pyramids and the Sphinx. After lunch in a local restaurant, visit the museum of Egyptian Antiquities, home to the treasures of Tutankhamun's tomb.

Nile Cruise (4 nights)

Monday (Luxor)

Fly into Luxor and transfer to the M/Y Mirage for a 4 night cruise. Morning visit to the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnom.
Afternoon visit to the Temple of Karnak and Luxor. Stay overnight in Luxor on board the ship.

Tuesday (to Edfu)

Sail to Esna and pass through the lock. Continue to Edfu and stay overnight.

Wednesday (to Aswan)

Morning visit to the Temple of Horus at Edfu. Afternoon cruise to Kom Ombo and visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris.
Late evening, sail to Aswan and stay overnight.

Thursday (Aswan)

This morning visit the Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. This afternoon take a felucca trip on the Nile. Stay overnight in Aswan. This is your last night on the ship, and the next morning you will disembark and fly to Cairo.

Disembark the ship and fly to Cairo

Saturday

Morning transfer to the airport. Fly to London with British Airways or extend your stay.
