About Grenada

  • Of course people don't travel to Grenada just to stay in hotel rooms all day, for Grenada has more spices per square mile than anywhere else on earth. This means that at every turn, the air is filled with the sweet scents of nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and vanilla.
  • You can visit aromatic spice and nutmeg plantations as part of a half day tour or full day tour including lunch on an estate with run tasting thrown in, or if you are feeling energetic, take a hike along the Grand Etang trail through the rainforest, perhaps spotting Mona monkeys, and finish by a pristine waterfall where you can take a refreshing swim. In fact, there are several trails ranging from easy to difficult which take you past rust coloured rocks and more cascading falls.
  • The capital, St. George is one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean with colourful houses and a superb waterfront setting. You will see French fountains, walk along cobbled pathways and admire the Georgian architecture of this laid back town. But one of the most popular days out is a trip to the Grenadines, a panoramic 25 minute flight away, and home to some of the most spectacular beaches in the world. You can join a romantic schooner, or snorkel in the turquiose water saurrounding Palm Island.
