Taba Heights (6 nights)
Saturday - Thursday Relax at your hotel in Taba Heights.
Accommodation 6 nights at the Marriott Hotel. Please ask us if you wish to change to any other hotel. Meals Half Board.
Petra (2 nights)
Friday Transfer to Taba Heights Marina for your boat crossing in to Aqaba in Jordan, then onwards to Petra, one of the top sightseeing locations in the world. Start with a horse ride, or a walk if you prefer, to the Dam area, and continue on foot through the dramatic Siq, until you reach the spectacular treasury building. There is much else to see including temples and tombs, and the Roman Theatre.
Saturday Day at leisure. Some people prefer to go back in to Petra (it is a BIG site to do in one day), or you may choose to take an optional tour to the desert of Wadi Rum, where 'Lawrence of Arabia' was filmed.
Sunday Journey down the King's Highway in Jordan to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth! Accommodation 2 nights at the Marriott Hotel. Meals Half Board, plus lunch on Friday
Dead Sea (3 nights)
Sunday Arrival at the Dead Sea
Monday and Tuesday Days at leisure to relax by the Dead Sea, perhaps having a float. Alternatively, there are spa treatments and optional tours including Madaba (for the famous mosaic map), Mount Nebo (the tomb of Moses, and breathtaking views across the Dead Sea towards Jerusalem), the Desert Castles (which seemingly rise out of the desert sand), Jerash (said to be the Pompeii of the east), and Amman (Jordan's capital).
Wednesday back to Taba Heights in Egypt Accommodation 2 nights at the Marriott Hotel. Meals Half Board, plus lunch on Friday
