  Dalyan Holidays
Go to hotels in Turkey Dalyan has several excellent restaurants by the river and a few relaxed bars, although this is not the place to come for noisy nightlife. Instead it is fairly easy going surrounded by orange groves, pine trees, and overlooked by ancient rock tombs. The wetlands are home to many species of birds including the stork which is here from April to August. In town there are a variety of the usual shops selling herbs and spices, leather good, souvenirs, Turkish Delight etc. The beach at Dalyan is reached by boat and takes about 40 minutes. This is a magical journey in itself as you drift past beautiful scenery and wildlife. There is a quicker dolmus service however of about 20 minutes.

Dalyan Resort Hotel   (4*)
Dalyan , Turkey
The beautiful setting of the hotel by the river
This is probably the best hotel in Dalyan, but the real reason to come here is for the resort itself. Dalyan is a unique unspoilt resort on the banks on the river, and close to the famous 'Turtle Beach' where loggerhead turtles nest. It has been designated a special conservation area, and so hotels are set away from the beach, which you can reach by a boat ride (45 minutes) or by dolmus (20 minutes). The boat ride is much more fun however as you make your way gently through the long reeds until you reach the spectacular sandbar.
